The Forged fittings in 304/304L austenitic stainless steel are designed by a composition consisting of around 18% of chromium and about 8% of nickel. The difference is that 304L contains reduced carbon that offers corrosion protection. These show excellent resistance against corrosion, great strength, and formability properties. The applications are broad in nature since it is strong against oxidation and does not stain.
