AWS Class ER317L is a low-carbon stainless steel filler metal used in the Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) and Submerged Arc Welding (SAW) processes. Its composition includes chromium (Cr), nickel (Ni), and molybdenum (Mo), offering excellent corrosion resistance, particularly in acidic environments.
