AWS Class ER347 is austenitic stainless steel used in welding applications. It contains chromium (19.0-21.5%) and nickel (9.0-11.0%) for high corrosion resistance, along with titanium to prevent carbide precipitation. Its mechanical properties include excellent tensile strength (up to 700 MPa), good weldability and high resistance to oxidation and intergranular corrosion. ER347 is ideal for welding components exposed to high temperatures and harsh environments, making it suitable for industries like aerospace, chemical processing and power generation.

AWS Class ER347 Submerged Arc Welding Flux provides excellent arc stability and a clean, slag-free weld. It enhances corrosion resistance and weld quality for high-temperature and stainless steel applications.
We uphold stringent quality standards for our AWS Class ER347 SAW and FLUX, subjecting them to rigorous testing. Our extensive tests encompass the Hardness Test, Chemical Analysis via Spector Analysis, PMI Testing, Flattening Test, Micro and Macro Tests, Pitting Resistance Test, Flaring Test, and Intergranular Corrosion (IGC) Test. Commercial invoice, packaging list, Certificate of Origin, and Guarantee Letter accompany our products. For added assurance, we offer third-party inspection certificates, validating the excellence and suitability of our AWS Class ER347 SAW and FLUX across various applications and ensuring client satisfaction.
AWS Class ER347 is a filler metal used in gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) and gas metal arc welding (GMAW) for welding austenitic stainless steels, particularly for applications requiring high-temperature resistance. It’s commonly used in industries such as petrochemical, chemical and power generation. The flux in submerged arc welding (SAW) helps stabilize the arc, protect the weld pool from contamination, and improve weld quality. ER347 and flux combinations are ideal for welding applications in high-temperature, corrosive environments.
