Stainless steel 310H pipe fittings contain 25-30 % of chromium, 19-22% nickel, and small percent of manganese, silicon, carbon, and many more. At high temperatures these elements give satisfactory resistance to oxidation and corrosion well. The mechanical property of this metal is tensile strength (515 MPa) and yield strength (205 MPa) as well as an elongation 40% of gauge length in 50mm. With a hardness of 95-200 HB, stainless steel 310H is very strong and durable in aggressive environments, hence suitable for high temperature applications like furnaces and heat treatment systems.
