Shashank Stainless, based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, is a renowned supplier and manufacturer of premium quality stainless steel unions for many areas of industrial applications. These unions have become synonymous with great resistance to the damaging effects of corrosion, oxidation, and thus high temperature; for chemical-processing industries or power generation operations, or marine engineering, they would be excellent. Engineered to enhance strength and durability, our Stainless Steel Unions provide reliable operation even under the harshest conditions. Different sizes and configurations are available while customization to particular project requirements is done. We devote ourselves to providing products that meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.
Among the different grades of stainless steel unions, 304 and 316 possess a lot of excellent properties both for chemicals and also physically. The composition of grade 304 has 18-20% chromium and 8-10.5% nickel where carbon can be up to 0.08%. Grade 316, which is made for high resistance against corrosion, contains 16-18% chromium, 10-14% nickel, and 2-3% molybdenum. Mechanical properties include tensile strength that varies between 520 MPa to 700 MPa and yield strength of 215 MPa for 304 and 290 MPa for 316. Further both the grades feature high elongation (40% min), very good hardness (70 HRB max) and the modulus of elasticity is 200 GPa providing durability and strength in most demanding environments.
