Stainless Steel 316H Nuts are austenitic high carbon stainless steel that has typical chemical composition that is about 16-18% chromium, 10-14% nickel, 2-3% molybdenum, and an increased carbon content to provide better strength. The good mechanical properties in Stainless Steel 316H are tensile strength ~515 MPa, yield strength ~205 MPa, and impressive toughness at high temperatures. Good corrosion resistance against pitting and crevice corrosion in such harsh environments exists.
