AWS E320LR-16 electrodes are used for welding low-alloy steel. They contain 0.12% carbon, 1.0% manganese, 0.7% nickel, and up to 11.0-3.5% chromium. These electrodes offer high tensile strength (around 690 MPa) and excellent impact toughness at low temperatures. They provide good resistance to corrosion and oxidation, making them suitable for structural applications exposed to harsh environments.
