The main components are the body, bonnet, tail, wheels and seats, all made from stainless steel. Stainless steel alloys typically contain iron, chromium (at least 10.5%) and nickel, in common concentrations such as 304 and 316. Chromium provides excellent corrosion resistance, while nickel does harden and stabilize, making these valves suitable for harsh environments such as chemical processing, petrochemicals. and water treatment industries.
