SS 13-8 PH, a martensitic precipitation-hardenable stainless steel, for its excellent strength and hardness values. Its nominal composition is rich in about 13% of chromium, with 8% nickel, and 2% molybdenum levels, trace to aluminum, carbon, and more for enhanced performance performance. This excellent alloy achieves ultimate mechanical properties along with conductive tensile strengths of 205 ksi and maximizes resistance in stress corrosion cracking. Provides range of hardnesses from H 900 to H 1150 depending on its heat treatment.
