Stainless steel 465 (also known as UNS S46500) is a high-strength martensitic alloy with moderate corrosion resistance. Mainly composed of iron, chromium (16-18%) and nickel (4-6%), with trace amounts of carbon (0.15-0.25%), manganese, silicon and molybdenum Mechanical properties of the alloy and high tensile strength ( up to 850 MPa), Includes maximum hardness (HRC 40-45), and intermediate hardness. They are commonly used in aerospace, high-performance applications, and valve components, where strength and resistance are important. Heat treatment improves hardness and mechanical properties.
