Stainless Steel 310S contains 25% Cr, 20% Ni. The other trace elements include C, Mn, and Si. Its tensile strength is up to 515 MPa; yield strength to 205 MPa, has good weldability. Due to its low content of carbon, it avoids precipitation of carbides and, thereby, resists intergranular corrosion.
