Stainless Steel 309H Pipe are mainly made of iron, chromium (22-24%), nickel (12-15%), with a small amount of manganese and silicon, carbon, and other alloy elements. This alloy has excellent resistance against high-temperature oxidation as well as corrosion. The “H” suffix designates higher carbon, thus improving the strength and heat resistance. It is used in applications at elevated temperatures. The pipes retain mechanical properties such as high tensile strength, yield strength, and ductility which offer durability in industrial conditions like heat exchangers, furnaces, or chemical processing machinery.
