AWS Class ER410NiMo is a stainless steel welding wire containing approximately 12% chromium, 4.5% nickel, and 0.5% molybdenum. This composition provides excellent corrosion resistance, high strength, and toughness. Its properties include a tensile strength of around 690 MPa and a hardness of up to 35 HRC. Advantages of using ER410NiMo include its ability to maintain strength at elevated temperatures, resistance to wear and corrosion, and suitability for overlay and joining applications in harsh environments, making it ideal for industries such as oil and gas and power generation.
