SMO 254 tubing is made from approximately 20% chromium, 18% nickel, 6% molybdenum, and a small amount of nitrogen. This high performance coating provides outstanding corrosion resistance, especially against pitting, cracks and corrosion, and high strength. Key features include excellent chloride resistance to stress cracking and excellent weldability. Advantages of SMO 254 tubing include excellent durability in harsh environments, including chemical processing and marine applications. Its high strength and strong chemical resistance make it ideal for use in harsh corrosive environments.
