The alloy composition of stainless steel mechanical tubing consists of AISI 304, 316, 321 among others. Its resistance to corrosion and greater strength makes it more versatile. However, the alloys of the stainless steel mechanical tubing primarily are iron, chromium 10-30%, nickel up to 35%, molybdenum, manganese, and silicon in small proportions.
