Stainless Steel 310S Tubing is an austenitic low-carbon, stainless steel alloy, composed mainly of 25% chromium and 20% nickel with great resistance to oxidation and corrosion in temperatures at an elevated level. This material contains minute levels of manganese, silicon, and carbon.Mechanical Properties Some of the mechanical properties are as follows: tensile strength is around 620 MPa, elongation at 45%, and high hardness up to 217 HB. This has a very high resistance to thermal expansion, stress corrosion, and high-temperature oxidation, hence to be used for furnace parts, heat exchangers, and in industrial applications.
