Stainless Steel 410S is a martensitic grade with low carbon content that offers excellent corrosion resistance as well as high strength. Contains 11.5-13.5 % chromium and 0.08% excess carbon. Features good mechanical properties, excellent weldability, and excellent oxidation resistance. The reduced carbon content lowers the possibility of corrosion and can be used for applications at high temperatures. The advantages of the 410S are high performance, resistance to corrosion and lightning, and suitability for heat treatment to enhance its mechanical properties.
