Stainless steel 904L is an alloy mainly composed of 19-23% chromium, 23-28% nickel, 4-5% molybdenum, and trace amounts of copper and titanium. This superior material provides excellent corrosion resistance with chloride resistance and is extremely durable at high and low temperatures Its characteristics include exceptional hardness, high strength and excellent weldability. The advantage of 904L stainless steel is excellent resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion, making it ideal for harsh environments such as chemical processing and marine applications.
